Fine weather chose to grace the Owain Glyndwr Festival, hosted by the Sleeping Giant Foundation once again.
Held at the Ancient Briton public house in Ynyswen, it was a celebration of Welsh culture and history, together with entertainment and supporting sales stalls.
Owain Glyndwr and his standard bearer rode in, to be met by their henchmen, before a day of re-enactments and medieval archery.
Ystrad Wood Store's display, listing all the services they offer, the prices on the day and the numerous items they take commissions for and manufacture specially.
Among other items, we can see here the smaller size of bags of kindling which is made from recycled wood and sold at a fair price to the local community.
The Sons of the Dragon are a medieval re-enactment group, who camp out in period setting for the weekend of the festival. Here is member, and Tool Store volunteer, Gerald doing something arcane to his bow.
